Nahed Guirguis holds a master’s degree in social work from USC, in addition to two years of post-master's supervised experience in a clinical setting. Mrs. Guirguis has worked extensively with the county and city of Los Angeles in a number of capacities.
Psychotherapist for 25 years, retired as a program manager from Los Angeles County's Department of Mental Health/Law Enforcement, a cultural competency trainer for many years, and an adjunct professor with California State University – Los Angeles, from 2004-2009 and a member of the South Robertson Neighborhood Council from 2006-2019.
Devoted my work to advocate for the needs of the immigrants from the Middle East, educate different communities about the culture of the Middle East, educate the immigrants about the skills needed to succeed in their new environment.
